    • acknowledge your and others’ range of linguistic differences as resources, and draw on those resources to develop rhetorical sensibility

    One way that we were able to differentiate linguistic differences as resources to help us develop rhetorical sensibility was during our step writing process on how to. We wrote instructions on how to change a bike tire which included 4 major parts and a portion for awareness at the end. We realized an extra set of visuals would help viewers who may not be well off in English or just since these steps may be pushed out to various areas where English is not a common language such as Europe, Africa etc… We included pictures  separate from each paragraph that correlate to the steps. Although a lot of assignments had illustrations in many compositions, I feel as though this was the first assignment that helped me make a real distinction between linguistic differences and how to include more of a linguistically different audience.
